I took this photo from the Fort Langley area, in the late morning. Ben was with me and while he tromped around in the minus 7 degree weather, I quickly set up a tripod and fired off a few frames.
I got drenched taking these two photos, even with a large umbrella above my head. Brr, it’s getting cold outside, I imagine I’ll be taking photos in the snowquite soon.
This morning we walked to Langley city and watched the Remembrance day ceremony at the Langley Legion. I had planned on taking photos of people in the crowd… but ended up capturing something completely different.
The weather was so amazing today in Langley. I love that I live in a part of the world that doesn’t just have boring blue skies all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I love warm weather as much as the next person, it’s just nice to constantly have skies that make for interesting backgrounds....

I could take close up photos of faces all day long. Especially ones with wings in the background.
I am fortunate to live in a city that has four very distinct seasons. Of them all, Fall is my favorite. I love the colors, the smells, the leaves, the wind – and especially the comfy clothes.
